O my God, how great You are, and how supreme
are the works of Your hands. In the beginning, You created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness reigned over the deep.

Eternal Father, in six days, Your clear and grand vision came into being, through processes carried out correctly, according to a plan executed perfectly, leaving no room for chance or the unexpected.

Every activity produced a result. At the end of each stage, You verified the status of things. Satisfaction with Your work was the key to the next stage, strengthening the heart for the task ahead.

It was by reviewing Your work that You discovered Adam's loneliness. To better fill that gap, joining Adam to the creation, You exceeded his expectation in light of Your masterpiece.

You created me in Your image, according to Your likeness. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light on my path. I have come into this world to make it flourish under Your guidance.

Father, I praise You, for You do wonderful things. Your word teaches me to do everything wholeheartedly, as for You and not for men.

Kneeling before You in reverence, admiring the magnificence of Your works, Father, enriched by this knowledge and desiring to act according to Your likeness, I commit myself to pursue excellence, firmly anchored in obedience.
